30 Years of Audio and Music
Aural Art is My Game
I love sound
About Aaron
For 30 years (more, really), I’ve been obsessed with creating “aural art”. That’s a pretentious way to say it, but it’s accurate. I’m not just a musician and I’m not just an audio engineer.
I live for making sound – whether it’s music production, audio for video, or live performance. Extending from that, I love making media. I’ve been making records for over 30 years, I’ve been building websites for as long, and I’ve been involved with video for – well just about as long!
I’m a multi-media and entertainment professional who’s touched on everything you can imagine in the realm of entertainment and media – from manning the fly rail in a theater to running FOH in the oldest rock venue in Texas, to programming, building, and installing Linux media servers in multi-million dollar Cisco sales facilities.
But I always come back to recording, audio, and acoustics. My education is there – my Master’s is in Music, Science and Technology from Stanford University. I had the distinct honor of being taught by Max Matthews (he invented digital audio at Bell Labs) and several other “he wrote the book on this – literally” types. I do love me some sound.
Let’s talk about it over Zoom, shall we?
